David has thirty years’ experience in validating and introducing new products and services while working on early-stage startup teams, as an Angel investor, and as an advisor. This experience includes early-stage finance, accounting, operations, as well as sales, marketing, and business development. David was the Principal Investigator for Astrapi’s DC I-Corp cohort executing the Lean Startup methodology. In addition to successfully selling Nail Express, David had a successful exit, as a General Partner for Capital Associates, AIG, the Richardson Corporation (Richardson-Vicks), and others by delivering the $30 million Renaissance Plaza project dramatically ahead of pro-forma. He was awarded the prestigious Xerox President’s Club award for sales excellence every year he was eligible. Over the past ten years David has reviewed over 150 SBIR grant proposals as a panelist for the National Science Foundation. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the International Center for Decision and Risk Analysis (ICDiRA). David attended the University of Texas at Austin and holds both a BBA in Finance and MS in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs School of Business where he was conferred the George Kozmetsky award for academic excellence.
